IMPORTANT NOTICE TO NEW INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FOR THE REGISTRATION PROCESS
Please ensure that you read the information attached herein for smoothness of your registration as student of Universiti Utara Malaysia.
1. ACTION TO BE TAKEN ONCE YOUR APPLICATION STATUS IS SUCCESSFUL
Date: 27 APRIL – 14 OCTOBER 2023 - VIEW OFFER LETTER
- Please visit https://uum.edu.my/kemasukan
- Access page ADMISSION VERICATION OF BACHELOR PROGRAMME FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT using Passport Number
- Check detail Programme offered
- Download Offer Letter
- Refer Appendix 1.pdf at Download Document drop list for VAL Application
- Proceed with VAL Application through the EMGS website
- Student are advised to read Admission Guide, Method of Payment and Guidelines for New International Student (VISA) at Download Document drop list
- Please remember username and password given to proceed with Self Registration
2. ONLINE REGISTRATION (Self Registration)
Date: 12 SEPTEMBER – 10 OCTOBER 2023 - DOWNLOAD/UPLOAD DOCUMENT
- Visit https://admission.uum.edu.my/
- Choose Online Registration for Undergraduate
- Login using the username and password given
- Update your information
- Download Health Declaration Form
- Upload Document:
- Health Declaration Form
- Visa Approval Letter/Single Entry Visa - Student Photo
- Confirm your submission
- CIAC will verify your VISA uploaded
Date: 12 SEPTEMBER – 10 OCTOBER 2023 - MAKE PAYMENT
- Once you got your VAL/SEV please proceed with payment
- Make payment through https://epay.uum.edu.my/home.php or please refer to Method of Payment mentioned previously
- System will verify your payment within 24 hours working day or depend on the payment method
Date: 12 SEPTEMBER – 10 OCTOBER 2023 - SELF REGISTRATION
- Once finished uploaded document and make payment please login again https://admission.uum.edu.my/
- You only can proceed with registration when the system verified your payment
- You will be assign an accommodation room number
- Please read your Personal and Programme Detail and click REGISTER
- Print Registration Slip for Entering Campus, Medical Check-up at UUM PKU and Student Pass at Visa Unit, also for agent used
Date: 12 SEPTEMBER – 10 OCTOBER 2023 - ACTIVATE STUDENT PORTAL
Once finished Register and print Registration Slip please activate your portal
- Visit https://portal.uum.edu.my/
- Login using username and password given
- You have to remember all 3 answers security/question that you have set during portal activation.
3. PHYSICAL REGISTRATION (Entering UUM Campus)
Date: 8 OCTOBER 2023 – STUDENT ARRIVAL (ACCOMMODATION CENTRE)
• Arrival of new international undergraduate students at UUM Campus
• Submit your Registration Slip to register your Room Number
Date: 9 OCTOBER 2023 - MEDICAL CHECK-UP
• Medical check-up/health insurance for new students (International)
• Submit your Registration Slip to verify your payment and student status
Date: 10 – 13 OCTOBER 2023 – PHYSICAL REGISTRATION
• Submit your Registration Slip to register your Orientation Week
• Show your Registration Slip to Visa Unit to proceed your student pass
Date: 10 – 19 OCTOBER 2023
• Submit your Registration Slip and English Certificate to Register your Programme Add/Drop Course at Academic Affairs (HEA) Counter
• Check your portal for your Academic Schedule
Date: 10 - 22 OCTOBER 2023 – INTENSIVE ENGLISH CLASS REGISTRATION
• Submit your Registration Slip to register for Intensive English Class at Professional Development Unit, School of Languages, Civilization & Philosophy (This is only compulsory for those who has not yet fulfilled the English Language Requirement)
