Here are the official dress code for the graduands to be worn underneath the robe.
Gents
You must wear formal attire. You will look great wearing plain light coloured long sleeve shirt, with suitable colour necktie. Put on a dark coat, matched with similar colour trousers, and formal black leather shoes and socks. Neat and tidy will make you look smart and presentable during the ceremony.
Ladies
You may choose to wear baju kurung, lounge suit, loose plain blouse with dark coloured pants or match it with plain dark coloured skirt of ankle length. The skirt should be without slits on any sides. You will appear formal with black court shoes, maximum of 1.5 inch heel height. You will look beautiful and gorgeous wearing decent and modest clothes on the stage.
Please tie your hair properly and neatly. Put small pins to prevent your hair from covering your face, or falling to the side. Otherwise, your on-stage picture will be spoilt.
Meanwhile niqabis need to adhere to the varsity's rule, as not to put face veils while on stage.

Graduands are NOT ALLOWED/BARRED by staff from attending the Degree Conferring Session if they wear clothing other than the established dress code.
